The par-5 fifteenth requires a decent tee shot to set up for a birdie. A slight push off the tee for right handers could  place your ball OB or in a hazard.  On the other hand, with a slight pull you might be in the woods on the left. Play it safe and go for the middle.

Most players lay up on their second shot while stronger players can reach the green with a fairway wood or rescue club.

The approach shot usually takes an extra club to the uphill green. As with most greens on the course, the 15th is pitched  from back to front with several undulations in between.
